Our own haven space
We practice the ethos of Haven Spaces..... 'the impact of what you surround yourself with affects emotional well-being', which we are very passionate about. Equally, the size of your garden and home does not limit this impact, as we can example. This philosophy extends beyond our work as we live this out through our lifestyle and food choices! Living Roof bespoke store
A new bespoke store to replace the previous one we made about 7 years ago. This time with a living sedum and camomile roof, edged with ‘rainbow’ stones… the removal of the old store now enabling us the space for a ‘pop up’ greenhouse to commence a new autumn ‘sow along’ with Zoe at Swan Cottage (a lovely flower farmer in Buckinghamshire)
hello autumn…
Summer baskets still going, dried allium and sea lavender heads basking, grasses starting to take centre stage with hydrangeas hanging on for a final display… oh what a delight!

sweet pea perfection
Despite a slow cold start to the season and an inconsistent summer 2021 ….. we cannot fault these!
Our usual three sweet pea screens are probably one of the highlights this year…
spring 2021 - worth all the anticipation!
tulips like teacups!
enjoying the darker evenings from both inside and out…
Every day is a blessing when opening the curtains onto our own 'little piece of haven'. You cannot resist stepping out onto the deck to breathe it all in; the colour, texture, scent and beauty. The colours inside & outside our home are reflected. The fencing in 3 tones from the same colour provide a harmonious flow & beautiful canvas to the planting. The copper colour of the screen also contrasts wonderfully with the blue, almost verdigris colour and the deeper blue for many of the terracotta pots, which were in great need of a re-vamp now tones well with the fencing. All our plants remain in pots surrounded with seasonal plants that have been directly planted into the bed, so much to enjoy in our little piece of haven!

'A taste of spring colour' - April 28th 2017
We love this time of the year, the promise of new life starting to sprout in our own little haven..... It was lovely to get beautiful Bellis flowering plants this year, which provide a stunning miniature woodland feel due to the choice of companion plants. The new addition of Primula Drumsticks too, which although short lived in their flowering; they have been a delight! They remind us of Alliums that we use frequently in our designs. Hope you're enjoying this special time of the year with all its promises in store!
